On My Way to New York

by Mike Huckabee Saturday I was back in Iowa for the first time since we won the caucuses on January 3. Seeing dear friends and “family” that we came to truly love during the process was such a wonderful reminder of how hard our friends there worked to give us such a boost.

Remembering Tony Snow

The death of Tony Snow is a great loss for those who appreciated his candor, objectivity and his bounding spirit of optimism. Tony and I shared a mutual love of music and whenever we visited the conversation gravitated to musicians and rock bands.

You have been in my stomping grounds for the last few days. I don't know if you remember us.Rick and Mel (Mark Allison's friends in Houston)-as Rick puts it-we are with the RVA African delegation that support you. You have been in our prayers.By your last email to us God has answered and kept you safe. It brings tears to my eyes to hear about Kigali and the African people. Now you see what hopeful, loving hearts they have. We wish we could have been with you to hear their president's words. What a blessing to hear how he wants to build his country. Anyone who has been to Africa will understand how GREAT our country is and what a privilege it is to live here. Having to evacuate out of Africa at least 7 times due to war puts life in perspective. What an AWESOME country we live in. If the people here could see first hand - war fought in their own back yard... then maybe they would support our troops better and care about decisions made about our country. It does matter who you vote for!
